Farrell , Administrative Assistant Earle Kracht, Plan Reviewer Petitioners: Angelo Palumbo, President Fairmont Group Cliff Pixler, INTECH Consultants Acting Chairman Mullen called the meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. Item A: Fairmont Estates - Revised Plat of Subdivision Palumbo presented the revised Plat of Subdivision to the Plan Commission which incorporated all the changes recommended by the Village Board. Palumbo stated that the north end of the cul-de-sac was flattened and lowered 3.66 feet so as to adjoin lots 10 and 11. Palumbo also stated that a contiguous fence will be constructed along Biesterfieid from the east end of lot 10 to the west end of lot 18. It was noted that a variation to the zoning ordinance is required for the installation of the fence. Palumbo informed the Commission that they have filed the petition for the zoning variation with the Zoning Board of Appeals. After further deliberation, Commissioner Mullen moved to approve the revised final Plat of Subdivision and recommend that the JPZ Committee and Village Board approve the subdivision. Commissioner Meyers seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. In addition, Commissioner Henrici moved to recommend that the Village Board grant the following variations to Section 8-128-1-1A3LE of the Municipal Code: 1) to permit a cul-de-sac over 400 feet in length 2) to allow for the diameter of the cul-de-sac bulb. Commissioner Mullen seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Plan Commisse Minutes • August 19, 1992 Page 2 Adjournment: Commissioner Meyers made a motion to adjourn the meeting.
