A) Consideration of a request from the following entity to waive the Village's annual
alarm license fee for the period January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007:

(The regular alarm license fee is $25 per location.
(It has been past practice of the Village Board to grant fee waivers for non-
profit and government organizations.
(A report from the Assistant Finance Director, recommending approval, is
attached.)
B) Consideration of a request to hold a Public Hearing before the Plan Commission to
consider the petition of 2727 Higgins, LLC who is requesting to re-subdivide two (2)
industrial zoned lots at 2727 Higgins.
(The purpose of the re-subdivision is to reconfigure the property so that two
buildings do not exist on a single zoning lot.)
C) Consideration of the following:
• Adopt Resolution No. 5-07 (attached) authorizing the Maintenance of Streets
and Highways by a Municipality under the Illinois Highway Code and
appropriating $1,134,870 from Motor Fuel Tax for the 2007 Street
Maintenance Program;
■ Approve the use of an additional $30,000 of General Corporate Funds from
FY 07/08 Budget for the 2007 Program;

■ Approve the 2007 Street Maintenance Program as recommended by the
Capital Improvements Committee to resurface 6.94 miles of Village streets;
and
■ Authorize Village staff to advertise and accept bids on work included in this
program.
(Of the total estimated program cost of $1,263,870, $79,000 is estimated as
self-funded by residents as part of the Private Participation Concrete Replacement
Program(PPCRP).
(The size of the program in square yards of pavement proposed for re-surfacing
is about 22% smaller than last year's program.
(Approval of this Resolution authorizes the Village to bid the 2007 MFT
Program.
(A report from the Director of Public Works, recommending approval, is
attached.)
