Thousand Points of Environmental Light
After a brief discussion to determine whether the Village should support creating a partnership with
Walmart and Elk Grove High School to increase the awareness of the value of Compact Fluorescent
Lights, it was the consensus of the Committee to invest up to $3,000 in funding from the recycling fund
to implement the"Thousand Points of Environmental Light"program in conjunction with Walmart to
promote the use of Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs in Elk Grove Village homes.
Spring 2007 Villager
Upon making minor modifications to the newsletter, the consensus of the Committee was to approve
the Spring 2007 Villager newsletter for distribution.
The meeting adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
