Ter Maat Re-inspection Fees After a brief discussion, it was the consensus of the Committee to increase the fees for Health& Community Services re-inspections by$50.00 for second and third re-inspections. The fourth or more re-inspection would cost a business up to $500.00. The new re-inspection fees are as follows: $100.00 second re-inspections, $150.00 third re-inspection, and $500.00 fourth or more re-inspections. Automated Traffic Management System Mike Lebert of RedSpeed Illinois, LLC made a presentation to the Committee regarding a red light camera system designed to photograph vehicles that run red lights. The presentation showed examples of the camera's photos and explained the ticketing process. RedSpeed's focus is promoting safer intersections and more attentive drivers. It was the consensus of the Committee to work with RedSpeed and install red light cameras at Elk Grove's most dangerous intersections. Necessary contracts and ordinances will be approved during the September 25 Village Board meeting.
