PROCHNO Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 21, 2006, this Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s) of review for release: — October 2006 Date of approval for release: s Ala, 60-017 R/U U /3 A O O 7 March 21, 2006 8:32 p.m. PERSONNEL The consensus of the Village Board was as follows: • To authorize a 3.5%value increase to non-union step-pay-plan positions; • To authorize a 3.5% value increase to specific rate-pay-plan positions; • To authorize a 0% to 5.5% merit increase range for non-union merit pay personnel based on individual performance; • To authorize a range movement pool of$58,061 ($55,242 for General Fund and $2,819 for Water& Sewer Fund for merit salary personnel)with range movements of 0%to 2%, funded at a rate of 1.0% of merit salaries; • To authorize an increase in an amount of$50 to each category of longevity payments for non-union step-pay plan employees; • To authorize an increase in an amount of$25 to each category of MEP allowances to non-union merit pay plan employees; • To offer an increase in the Retiree Health Savings Plan from 40%to 50%buy back, to be held pending acceptance of the Public Works Union as part of their contract extension; and • To increase the Accounting Supervisor's pay to $63,500 on May 1. In addition, the Mayor asked the Village Manager to explore the comparables for non- union step employees from other communities and report the finding for consideration after the Personnel Committee reviews the report concerning salaried employees.
