Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 23. 2006,this Executive Session was
called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager informed the Mayor&Board that he intended to promote Dion Zinnel to
the position of Deputy Police Chief following the retirement of Mike Lebert in August. In
addition, he would be promoting Mike Kirkpatrick to the position of Commander.
The Mayor asked the Village Manager to work with the Police Chief to provide Commander
John Nowacki additional experience
