AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6-4-5-3 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
CONCERNING PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED PARKING AREAS BY AMENDING
THE PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON COSMAN ROAD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage as follows:
Section 1: That the provisions restricting parking on Cosman Road set forth in Section 6-
4-5-3 of the Village Code be amended to read as follows:
Cosman Road, east side, from its intersection with Arlington Heights Road, north to
where Cosman Road curves westbound; the north side of Cosman Road from and
including the Winston Drive intersection then east to where Cosman Road curves
southbound; and the south side of Cosman Road inclusive of the intersection with
Winston Drive and east to a point one thousand two hundred seventy-seven feet (1,277')
east from the intersection of Winston Drive and Cosman Road.
Section 2: Any person violating the provision of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine
of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for
each offense.
Section 3: The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet
form.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage,
approval and publication according to law.
