Johnson, Liquor Commissioner Trustee Samuel L. Lissner, Liquor Commission ALSO PRESENT George B. Knickerbocker, Village Attorney Ann I. Walsh, Village Clerk Attitudes Velitchka D. Bontcheva, Owner Attorney Joseph P.McCaffery Joseph P. McCaffery& Associates Mayor Johnson called the public hearing to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The Liquor Commissioner explained the purpose of these hearings was to consider evidence concerning the sale of alcohol to minors at Attitudes, 1000 Higgins Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois on Friday January 26, 2008. The Liquor Commissioner announced there was an agreement made on an order between the parties. That agreement would include a 30-day suspension, beginning on February 1, 2008 with full closure of the establishment, no food service, and no liquor sales. It was agreed a$2500 fine, which would include court costs, would be paid 30 days after opening. It was also understood that there would no longer be any type of a juice bar or admittance of minors inside the bar area. The Liquor Commissioner thanked Attorney McCaffery, Owner Vlitchka Bontcheva, Village Attorney Knickerbocker and Trustee Lissner for working to come to an amicable solution to the problem. A complete testimony of all parties is contained within the court reporter's tramcript which is on file in the Village Clerk's 0111ce.
