THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
-`} OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE,
{ ILLINOIS, HELD ON JimARY 14, 1957•
President Charles A. Hodlmair, Sr., called the meeting to order
at 8:15 P.M. at the residence of the President in said Village, pursuant.
to a motion made and carried at the meeting held September 24,, 1956, and
directed the Village Clerk to call the roll.
Upon the roll being called the following Trustees answered
"PRESENT": Frank R. Angelotti, Morgan P. Burke,Jr., James L. Carroll,
Roger J. Patzer and Leonard A. Scharringhausen; "ABSENT": Laurence F.
Grindel.
It was moved by Trustee Angelotti and seconded by Trustee
Patzer that the minutes of the adjourned meeting of the Board of Trustees
held on Monday, January 7, 1957, as submitted, be approved. The motion
was voted upon by acclamation. Whereupon the President.declared the
motion carried and the minutes approved.
It was moved by Trustee Burke,Jr., and seconded by Trustee
Scharringhausen that Ordinance No. 3, an Ordinance creating a Zoning
Commission, be passed. The President asked that the roll be called for
a vote on the motion and upon the roll being called -the .following Trustees
voted "AYE": Angelotti, Burke,Jr., Carroll, Patzer and Scharringhausen;
r "NAY": None. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the
Ordinance passed and approved same in open meeting.by affixing his
signature thereto.
It was moved by Trustee Burke, Jr., and seconded by Trustee
Patzer that the Bond- in the amount of $$2,000.00 with the Indemnity .
Insurance Company of North America for. George F. Scharringhausen,Jr.,
for Village Treasurer, be approved. . The.President asked that the roll
be called for a vote on the motion and upon the roll being called the
following Trustees voted "AYE": Angelotti, Burke,Jr., Carroll, Patzer
and Scharringhausen; "NAY": None. Whereupon the, President declared the
motion carried and :the bond- was approved.
Mr. George F. Scharrin ausen,Jr., was sworn in as Village
Treasurer by the Village Clerk of Elk Grove Village.
It was moved by Trustee Angelotti and seconded by Trustee
Carroll that this meeting adjourn. The motion was voted upon. by
acclamation. Whereupon the President- declared the motion carried and
the meeting regularly adjourned. 9:00 P.M.
