President Charles A. Hodlmair, Sr., called the meeting to order at 9:05 P.M. at the residence of the President in said Village, pursuant to a motion made and carried at the meeting held September 24, 1956, and directed the Village Clerk to call the roll. Upon the roll being called the following Trustees answered "PRESENT": Frank R. Angelotti, Morgan P. Burke,Jr., James L. Carroll, Laurence F. Grindel, Roger J. Patzer and Leonard A. Scharringhausen; "ABSENT": None. It was moved by Trustee Scharringhausen and seconded by Trustee Burke,Jr., that the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees held on Monday, January 14, 1957, as submitted, be approved. The motion was voted upon by acclamation. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the minutes approved. It was moved by Trustee Burke,Jr., and seconded by Trustee Patzer that Ordinance No. 4, "AN ORDINANCE creating a Plan Commission in and for the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois." be passed. The President asked that the roll be called for a vote on the motion and upon the roll being called the following Trustees voted "AYE": Angelotti, Burke,Jr., Carroll, Grindel, Patzer and Scharringhausen; "NAY": None. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the ordinance passed and approved same in open meeting by affixing his signature thereto. It was moved by Trustee Angelotti and seconded by Trustee Grindel that Ordinance No. 5, "AN ORDINANCE providing for a supply of water for domestic, commercial, industrial and public use and fire protection, granting to Elk Grove Water and Sewer Company, Inc.., its successors and assigns, the privilege and franchise to construct, operate and maintain a water works and distribution system for said water supply in The Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, and granting to the said Elk Grove Water and Sewer Company, Inc. the right and privilege to construct, operate and maintain water pipes, water mains, appurtenances and connections in. and upon the streets, avenues, alleys, sidewalks, bridges and public grounds in The Village of Elk Grove Village for the supply of water for domestic, commercial, industrial and public use and fire protection in- The Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois." be passed. The President asked that the roll be called for a vote on the motion and upon the roll being called the following Trustees voted "AYE": Angelotti, Burke,Jr., Carroll, Grindel, Patzer and Scharringhausen; "NAY": None. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the ordinance passed and approved same in open meeting by affixing his signature thereto. It was moved by Trustee Burke,Jr., and .seconded by Trustee Carroll that Ordinance No. 5, be published in the Arlington Heights Herald. The President asked that the roll be called for a vote on the motion and upon 1 the roll being called the following Trustees voted "AYE": Angelotti, Burke,Jr., Carroll, Grindel, Patzer and Scharringhausen; "NAY": None. �__ : Whereupon the President declared the motion carried. President Charles A. Hodlmair, Sr., appointed the members of the Plan Commission and the terms of office, as follows: DeSoto B. McCabe, Jr., Chairman for a term of 4 years Harold Scharringhausen, Member for a term of 4 years Jack Michala, Member for a term of 2 years A motion was made by Trustee Grindel and seconded by Trustee Scharringhausen that the appointments and terms of office of the members of the Phan Commission be approved. The President asked that the roll be called for a vote on the motion and. upon the roll being called the following Trustees voted "AYE": Angelotti, Burke,Jr., Carroll, Grindel, Patzer and Scharringhausen; "NAY": None. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Scharringhausen and seconded by Trustee Carroll to file a protest in Herzog's rezoning Appeal $1671-1672. The motion was voted upon by acclamation. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Patzer and seconded by Trustee Burke,Jr. that the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Pillage extend their sincere expression of thanks to Leonard A. Scharringhausen for his very efficient work in clearing the snow from the streets and far _ driveways in the Village. The motion was voted upon by acclamation. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried. It was moved by Trustee Angelotti and seconded by Trustee Grindel that this meeting adjourn. The motion was voted upon by acclamation.
