President Charles A. Hodlmair called the meeting to order at 9;15 P.M. at the Ira L. Rupley School in said Villegn and directed the Village Clerk to call the roll. Upon the roll being, called the following Trustees answered 41`ABSENT": Frank R. Angelotti, James L. Carroll, Laurence F. Grindel, Roger J. Patzer and Leonard A. Scharringhausen; "ABSENT": Morgan P. Burke, Jr. . . . Also present at this sheeting: George Scharrinfoausen, Jr., Village Treasurar; William A. Glab, Police Magistrate; Jack C. Michala, Chairman of the Zoning, Board of Appeals of Elk Grove; and Edward Clifford, Police Chief. A letter of transmittal of an ordinance dated December 13, 1957, vao received from the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove recommending that the amendment of Sections 5 (a) (2) of Articles V, VI and VII of the Zoning Ordinance be passed by the President and Board of Trustees. It was moved by Trustee Scharringhaueen and seconded by Trustee Grindel that Ordinance No. 40 "AN ORDINANC?: amending the Village of Elk Grove Village Zoning; Ordinance." be adopted. The President asked that the roll be called for a vote on the motion and upon the roll being called the following Trustees voted ".A7E"s Angelotti, Carroll, Grindel, Patter and Scharrinp usen; "NAY": None. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the ordinance passedand approved same in open meeting by affixing his signature thereto. A letter of transmittal of two ordinances dated December 9, 1957 was received from the Zoning, Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove recommending that i the amendment of Section 4 of Article IV of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance by prow ding for the industrial zoning of property upon annexation and to zone As "I–Industrial District" lands annexed since the adoption of the original Zoning Ordinance, and that the tuo ordinances be passed by the President and Board of Trustees. j It was moved by Trustee Patzer and seconded by Trustee Angelotti that Ordinance No. 41 "AN ORDINANCE amending the Village of Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance." be adopted. The President asked that the roll be called for a vote on the motion and upon the roll being called the following Trustees voted "AYE": Angelotti, Carroll, Grindel, Patser and Scharringhansen; "NAY": None. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the ordinance passed and approved j same in open meeting by affixing his sipAature thereto. It was moved by Trustee Scharrin&-ausen and seconded by Trustee Grindel that Ordinance No. 42 "AN ORDINANCE, amending the Village of Elk Grove ' Village Zoning Ordinance." be adopted. The President asked that the roll be called for a vote on the motion and upon the roll being called the following Trustees voted "AYE": Angelotti, Carroll, Grindel, Patzer and Scharringhausen; "NAY"; None. Whereupon the President decl^.red the motion .c arried and the ordinance passed and approved same in open meeting by affixing; his signature ' thereto. A petition for annexation was presented and read to the President and Board of Trustees: The petitioner Charles A. Hodlmair, and repressents"unto. the corporate authorities of the Village of Elk-Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois, that he Is the sole ovner of record of the fallowing described land and territory located in the County of Cook and State of Illinois, and is uninhabited and has no electors residing thereon: The West 25 acres of the vast 60 acres of the South half' of the Southvest Quarter of Section 25, Township 41 North. Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. It was moved by Trustee Angelotti and seconded by Trustee Carroll that Ordinance No. 43 "AST ORDT17ANCE annexing certain lands to the Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois.0 (the land. and territory described in the above Q 1 m 12/16/57 I i petition with the following correction 1°SFZTION 354 instead of Section 25) be adopted. It was moved by Trustee Scharringhansen and sedonded by Trustee Carroll that Ordinance 44 •AN ORDINANCE amazing certain lands to the Villas of Elk Grove Village, Illinois,0 (the land and territory described in the above petition) be adopted. It was moved by Trustee Patzer and seconded by Trustee Grindel that a letter dated December 16, 1957 addressed to the President and Board of Trustees from Northern Development Company, requesting the change of zoning classification of R"1 20,000 square foot single family district so classified upon annexation to that of B-1 Business District of the following described i property:- Lot 2 in Schnell's• division, being a subdivision in Section 21, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois. be referred to the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grow® Villa. The motion was voted upon by acclamation. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the letter given to Jack C. Michala, Chairman of the zoning Board of Appeals of Elk Grove. James L. Carroll, Chairman of the Finance Cormittes, presented six invoices to be approved for payment. It was moved by Trustee Scharringhausen and seconded by Trustee Grindel that the following invoices be approved for payment: 12/9/57 Irvin F. Cutler, - 1 Police Car Identification Sign $9050 11127/57 Mueller's Stationary Store #10153 Log Book for Chief Cliffordl.99 11/30 /57 Herman F. Pettibone Inv. #37+9 1000 cards 9.31 Total T512029 It was moved by Trustee Patser and seconded by Trustee Angelotti that Police Chief, Edward Cliffordto -salary of $550.00 (by motion at meeting, of October 23,1957) be chan,Ded to $600.00 per month anon recommendation by I. the Fire and Police Committee, retroactive to November 1, 1957 and the pay checks be issued to Edward Clifford semi-monthly. The President asked that i the roll be called for a vote on the motion and upon the roll being called the following Trustees voted "AYE": Angelotti, Carroll, Grindel, Patzer and Scharrinr.�susen; "NAY": None.
