I Frank Opeka presented an Agreement to the Prudent and Board of Trusstooe for examination. This, Agreement teas between the Vi11W of Elk Grove Village and Centex Construction Company regarding the paving of Landmeier Road. .It was moved by Trustee Grindel and seconded by Trustee Angelotti that the President and Clark be authorisod to execute said Agreement on behalf of the Spillage of Bilk Grove Village, The Prosiaent asked that the roll be called on the motion and upon the roll being called, the following Szrusstese answered PAYE": Angelotti, Burke, Jr., Carroll, Grindel and Scharringh=sen; °RAY": Mone; "A.BSE TIO: Patsero Whoreupon the President declared the motion carried. Leonard .Scharringhausen, Chairman of Fire and Police Committee, said that he thought the Village should haus their omn fire truck and said that he was having a meeting at his home April 22nd at 7:30 P.ti. anA suggested that the members of the. Board of Trustees attend the meeting to look at a 1952 Ford model, complste with pumper equipment and ladder. Price - $6,000. He also said that the Village could purchase a 1947 International truck for $5oOOO- Mr. Scharringhausen presented the President and Board of Truoteae with decals and membership cards from the Cook County Traffic Safety Commission. The Village Clerk read a letter from The Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago, dated April 14, 1955, acknowledging receipt of an "Application for Sesser Permit° together with- plans, and the request for permission to pro- ceed at once with the construction of a sanitary serer eyeyem connecting to The Metropolitan Sanitary District setter, said system to serve the Higgins Road Commercial Area. The letter stated that Permit No. 1958-88 covering this wdrk vas beim prepares in the FaelneeriAg Department and that it would be adbuitted to the Board of Trustees of the Sanitary District at their next rega ar Board Meeting,, April 24, 1955, for approval and issuance. This letter was placed in the Village Clerk°s filen. The Village Clerk stated that she had received Approval No. 201 - 1958, dated April 14, 1958, from the State Departments of Public Health for the proposed lnproeeatente to vaterworksa including waatermain extension, for the Higgins Road Commercial area. This permit was placed in the Village Clerkes fides. It was moved by Trustee Aug®loth and seconded by Trustee Grindel that this meeting adjourn. The motion was voted upon by acclamation.
