Board of Appeals; Edurd Clifford, Police Chief; .Freak No Opeka, Village

the minutes of the Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees held on January
27, 1958, as submitted be approTed. The motion was voted upon by acclamationo
Whereupon the President declared tho motion carried and the minutes approved,

James L. Carroll, Chairman of the Financo Comitteo premented nine invoices, I
total mount $166,25, to be approved for pant.

Frank Opokaa and the Board of Truoteez the imttcr of Dire Protection for the
Village,
Police Chief Edward Clifford reported he is working on the phone aid radio
connection for the Police Department.

Frank M. OpQka present-ed the loose and the floor pleat for the Police Station �
located in the temporary poot office building at the moutheaet corner of
Higgins Road and Arlington Heights Road in the VillaZa of Elk Grove Village'.The lease in effective January 2, 1958, between Centex Construction Compiy, .
Inc., and the Villager of Elk Grove Village, rental at tl`s rate of One Dollar,
($1.00) per mouth payable in ad®anceeo
it was moved by Trustee Schareisaglmusen and aeecondesd by Trustee Carroll
that the Lease for the Police Station be exarnated by the President and Clerk on
behalf of the Village. The President &eked tb-at the roll be called on the

Whereupon the Preeideent declared the motion carried,

thaw; for providing the Village of Elk Grove Village with the Police..Dopaartment
location for the rental of $1.00 per month,

Board of Trustees to consider the employment of a building inepeator, oth®r
than s member of the Building Comm=ittee,
IThe Village Cler'.. read a letter from Bernard A. Rubin. 79 Wo Ronroe Street,
Chicago 3, Illinois, requesting that his fins be considered to handle tho
accounting; for the Village, President Hodlrair referred this to Jaynes bo
Carroll, Chairman of the Finance Committee, for study and report.
It was moved by Trustee Angelotti and seconded by Trustee drindel that
thin meeting adjourn. The motion seas voted upon by acclamation. Whereupon
the President declared the motion carried and the meeting regularly adjourned,
