"at, the Ira L.• `Rupley`School in said Village and directed the Village: Clerk to call the roll. Upon the roll :being called the following Trustees answered !!PRISM" : Frank R. Also present at- this meeting: Edward Clifford, Police Chief; John Corriis, representing the Elk Grove Herald; Harold Scharringhadsen, Chairman of.'the .Plan Commission; and residents of the Village of Elk Grove; 'Village. .Trustee Carroll, Chairman of the Finance Committee, presented and read six invoices to be approved for payment. Patzer, and Scharridghausen; 111fAY11: Atone. Whereupon the 'P:resident declared the motion carried. ' The Plan Commission has the proposed ordinance and plan.'covering the petition for annexation of the Chicago Title and Trust Company ,under!Trust'!tiro.. 38909, which petition for annexation was read at the meeti:Y",.of January 12, 1959. There- fore, this annexation ordinance could not be passed at this meeting. Upon recom- mendation from the Plan Commission this will be acted upon at the next Regular i?eeting. The Village Clerk presented Permit No. 1959=26 from the Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago covering ,Centex Industrial Park', Lunt Avenue. It was moved by Trustee Scharringhausen and .seconded b-y Trustee Grindel that the President be authorized to execute Permit No. 1959-26 from the Metro'- politan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago covering Centex Industrial Park, Lunt .Avenue, Village of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The motion was voted upon by acclamation. +Whereupon the President°declared the motion carried. The Village Clerk presented and read a letter dated. January 16, 1959 signed by J. P. Tuthill, District Engineer, State of Illinois, Division of Highways, District Office, 160 N. LaSalle Street, Room 1020, Chicago 1, Illinois, regarding Highway Permit No. 10-17376. The letter requested that the Village Board execute enclosed resolution forms for the construction of street returns known as Wild- wood Road, Ridgewood Road, Forest Lane, and. Oakwood Drive onto State Road and Liggins Road in Elk Grove Village. The executed resolutions to be returned'tb the District Engineer's office so that Permit No. 10-17376 can be issued. 1. 1/26/59 It was moved by Trustee Patzer and seconded by Trustee Burke that Resolution 1-59, " Village of Elk Grove Village wishes to construct streets and drainage structures as more fully described in Highway Permit No. 10-17376.", be adopted. The President asked that the roll be called on the motion, and upon the roll being called the following Trustees voted "A E.11: Angelotti,. Burke, Carroll, Grindel, Patzer, and Scharringhauser_; "NAY": None. 'Whereupon the President declared the motion carried. The Village Clerk presented a water report from the Cook County Department of Public Health dated January 20, 1959• This report was placed in the Village Clerk's files. The Village Clerk presented and read a letter from the State of Illinois, Division of Accounting, Springfield, Illinois, dated January 15, 1959, signed by C. F. Aiken, Superintendent, acknowledging the receipt of the affidavit and ordinance and the certificate of Federal Census of the Tillage of Elk. Grove Village. The letter-also stated that the Village of Elk Grove Village has been added to the list of munic- ipalities to receive a portion of Motor Fuel Tax funds. The first allotment will be made during the month of February, covering collection of rotor Fuel Tax for the month of January. This letter was placed in the Village Clerk's files. The Village Clerk then stated that the Village had. received two Legal Notides, Nos. 4 and 5, of Public Hearings i.n ,Elk Grove Township to be held on January 29, 1959 at 8:30 P.M. in the Mount Prospect Village Hall. It was moved by Trustee Burke and seconded by Trustee Grindel that the Legal Notice No. 4, property consisting _of approximately 20 acres, located on the northwest corner of Elmhurst Road and Oakton Street in .Elk Grove Township; and Legal Notice No.. 5, property consisting of approximately 51 acres, located on the gest side of Linneman Road betueen Dempster Street and Algonquin Road in Elk Grove Township; be turned over to Jack Michala, Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village. The motion_ was voted upon by acclamation. `:hereupon the President declared the motion carried. The Village Clerk then read a notice from the County Clerk, Cook County, regarding Registration of Voters. The notice stated that Registration terminated on Tuesday, January 20, 1959, and will re-open in the office of the Village Clerk for two days only; namely Monday, March 2 and Tuesday, March 3, 1959. The Village Clerk read a letter from the State of Illinois, Office of Auditor of Public Accounts, Springfield, Illinois, advising the Village Clerk of a branch office of the Municipal Audit Division in Room 805, 188 West Randolph Street, Chicago 1, Illinois. This office was set up to serve the municipalities in several counties in the extreme northern portion of the state. It was moved by Trustee Angelotti and seconded by Trustee Grindel that the meeting adjourn. The motion was voted upon by acclamation.
