AN ORDINANCE AMENDING POSITION CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY PLAN
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (POLICE OFFICER- POLICE
DEPARTMENT)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Position Classification and Salary Plan of the Village of Elk Grove
Village be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Permanent Authorized Position
Delete Add Temporary
Police Department Current Full-Time Full-Time February 28,2017
Police Officer 70 0 1 71
(Note: Authorized amount was increased by 1 position on a temporary basis to allow for
retirements. Authorized amount will decrease back to 70 positions upon the next
retirement or promotion.)
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval according to law.
