Old Business
1. Discuss Police MIAs, group interviews.
New Business
1. Final probationary review for firefighters Clark Jensen &Zachary Milburn.
Commission voted to lift the probationary periods of the 2 Fire Fighters and authorized letters
for permanent employee status.
2. Discuss the Fire Lieutenant hiring process for new eligibility list.
Commissioners discussed the Lieutenant hiring process. Will schedule Stanard and
Associates for meeting to administer testing services.
3. Discuss Hiring Process for new Fire Eligibility Lists
The Commissioners are reviewing the newest Fire Promotions Act. The Commissioners
would like to conduct Fire Testing in the fall, along with Lieutenant Testing. Stanard and
Associates will be scheduled for the Board Meeting as soon as available. The goal of the Fire
and Police Commission will be to have the new Fire List created before the old list expires.
Eligibility List
1. Firefighter—Eligibility list containing 109 names will expire on 09/14/2017.
2. Fire Lieutenant—Nine names appear on the eligibility list scheduled to expire on
11/09/2017.
3. Police Officer—Eligibility list dated 6/21/2016 has five names remaining and is
scheduled to expire on 12/27/2016.
4. Police Sergeant—Three names remain on the list scheduled to expire on 07/07/2018.
Adiournment
It was moved by Chairman Ehrke and seconded Commissioner Scholten that the meeting be
adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation whereupon Chairman Ehrke declared
the motion carried. Meeting adjourned 6:00 p.m.
