Jay, Staff Engineer Petitioner: Greg Truzpek, Echenhoff, Saunders Architects. (ESA) Commissioner Geinosky called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Commissioner Ayers motioned to name Commissioner Geinosky Acting Chairman. Commissioner Thompson seconded the motion. Upon voting(Ayers, Geinosky, Hauser, Sokolowski, Thompson, AYES, Glass, Henrici, Meyers, Paliganoff, ABSENT)the motion carried. Commissioner Sokolowski motioned to name Commissioner Ayers Acting Secretary. Commissioner Thompson seconded the motion. Upon voting (Ayers, Geinosky, Hauser, Sokolowski, Thompson, AYES, Glass,Henrici, Meyers, Paliganoff, ABSENT)the motion carried. Item 1: December 5, 2007 Meeting Minutes I Commissioner Hauser motioned to approve the December 5, meeting minutes with the addition of minor changes given by Commissioner Henrici and Commissioner Geinosky. Commissioner Thompson seconded the motion. Upon voting (Ayers, Geinosky, Hauser, Sokolowski, Thompson, AYES, Glass, Henrici, Meyers, Paliganoff, ABSENT)the motion carried. I I Item 2: First American Bank Landscape Plan Chairman Geinosky noted that the petitioner also brought with a poster board with a blown up color rendering of the proposed Landscape plan. He then opened the meeting up for discussion. Commissioner Sokolowski asked for clarification on why the additional screening was requested at the south end of the lot since the proposed lot to the south is not currently being developed. Beth Jacobsen referenced the minutes from the December 5, meeting in which the Commission suggested i the petitioner presume that the southern lot line were a residential boundary. In December it was anticipated to eventually be developed into residential housing. I 2 Petitioner G. Truzpek explained that his company considered the south end of the lot residential property. At the time both of these projected plans began, they had been submitted for residential development. He noted that the new plans before the board include 32 additions shrubs and 4 additional trees. He also stated that the burm would be covered completely in sod and not"seed" as written on the plans: Chairman Geinosky added that this plan has no objections from the Police Department, the Fire Department, or the Public Works Department. Chairman Hauser asked the petitioner when First American Bank planned to open. Petitioner G. Truzpek explained that the footings were in place and the steel has been prepared for installation for months and anticipates a September or October grand openings. Commissioner Ayers motioned to approve the landscape plans as presented to the Commission. Commissioner Hauser seconded the motion. Upon voting (Ayers, Geinosky, Hauser, Sokolowski, Thompson, AYES, Glass,Henrici, Meyers, Paliganoff, ABSENT) the motion carried. Item 3: Adjournment Commissioner Sokolowski motioned to adjourn the meeting and Commissioner Thompson seconded the motion. Upon voting (Ayers, Geinosky, Hauser, Sokolowski, Thompson, AYES, Glass, Henrici, Meyers, Paliganoff, ABSENT)the motion carried.
