Zettek Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village and noted for the record that the following were present: Chairman Alan J. Shapiro, DDS, and Secretary E. Butch Ehrke, and Commissioner Michael P. Kontek. It was moved by Commissioner Kontek and seconded by Commissioner Ehrke that the minutes of December 16, 2008 meeting be approved as submitted and that the Board dispense with the reading thereof. The motion was voted upon by acclamation whereupon Chairman Shapiro declared the motion carried. PRESENTATION AND APPROVAL OF INVOICES 1. Ottosen Britz Kelly Cooper& Gilbert, Ltd., Invoice 34929 dated 12/31/2008 in the amount of$1,200.00 for annual legal retainer fee. 2. The Heart Care Group, Invoice 11051 dated 6/6/2008 in the amount of$210.00 for pre-employment stress test for firefighter candidate. 3. Police Consultants, Inc., Invoice 5204 dated 1/16/2009 in the amount of$766.00 for multiple interview assessments for police sergeant candidates (30). It was moved by Commissioner Ehrke and seconded by Commissioner Kontek that the Board authorize the disbursement of funds for payment. The motion was voted upon by acclamation whereupon the Chairman declared the motion carried. CORRESPONDENCE 1. Written Reprimand dated 12/29/2008 issued to police officer for violating Rules and Regulations of the Elk Grove Village Police Department, Section 26.1.1A, Rules of Conduct, Rule 09 (Inattention to Duty). 2. Memo to Village Clerk advising that the Regular Meeting of the Fire &Police Commission has been rescheduled from January 20, 2009 to January 22, 2009. OLD BUSINESS 1. None NEW BUSINESS 1. None Minutes of the Regular Meeting January 22,2009 Page 1 of 2 ELIGIBILITY LIST/.HIRING STATUS 1 Police Officer— no vacancies. Twenty-seven names remain on the current eligibility list scheduled to expire on August 1, 2010. 2 Firefighter— no vacancies. Thirty-six names remain on the current eligibility list scheduled to expire on January 18, 2010. 3 Police Sergeant Eligibility List —Eligibility list expired. Individual Oral Interviews to be conducted tonight. 4 Fire Lieutenant List— Two names remain on the current eligibility list scheduled to expire on June 24, 2009. ADJOURNMENT It was moved by Commissioner Ehrke and seconded Commissioner Kontek that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation whereupon Chairman Shapiro declared the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 6:10 p.m. Respectfully submitted, E.
