Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 10, 2007_this Executive Session
was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Village Attorney advised the Board that acquisition of 321 Bond for the new police
station is moving along and has a tentative closing date of April 15, 2007. It was noted that
the Village is purchasing the property for continuity of Village services and to maintain the
property tax exemption status. The Village will be saving $150,000 in taxes by purchasing
the property. The Village will be conducting business for municipal purposes the entire
time the facility is occupied. Consensus of the Board was to follow through with the
purchase.
