Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on April 10, 2007_this Executive Session
was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
Police Commander interviews took place to fill Commander Kirkpatrick's position. Six
Sergeants were interviewed. Sergeant Chuck Walsh was selected for the promotion. He
will be swom*in as the new Police Commander in May. Sgt. Walsh interviewed well, he is
articulate, and is committed to the Village for a minimum of 14+years. He is completing
his Master's Degree and has future aspirations to seek high promotional opportunities
within the Police Department. Sergeant Walsh will be notified of his promotion on April
11, 2007. Michael Gaspari will fill Walsh's Sergeant position.
