Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 22, 2007 this Executive Session
was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Public Works Department is experiencing unusually large staffing shortages due to a
combination of illness, military deployment, and vacation season. The Village Manager
briefed the Board on the possibility of creating another full-time maintenance worker
position. Typically; someone from the seasonal staff asks to stay on full time at the end of
the summer. The Village Manager will discuss this situation with the Public Works
Director.
