Pursuant to a duly made and-approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on December 11, 2007_this Executive Session was called
to consider a - Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village-Manager updated the Board on minor changes that have occurred over the years with
the job description of part-time employees. The Village Manager recommended reverting back to
the 2002 policy, which referred to their working hours as the "budgeted regular work week." With
this, part-time employees will again receive emergency and bereavement leave which they once
had. This new policy is consistent with comparable communities and will apply to only fourteen
employees. Upon discussion it was the consensus of the Board to revert back to the previous
policy.
