Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote ata regularly scheduled meeting
of the Village President and Board of Trustees on December 11, 2007 this Executive Session was called
to consider a . Personnel matter.

PERSONNEL
The Village in previous years had a P.C. Specialist position. The employee in that position was let
go several years ago and was not replaced. The Village is working to improve and expand the
current technology plan. The Deputy Director of Information Technology is requesting more
assistance as this program is expanded. The Village Manager recommended eliminating the P.C.
Specialist position and creating a Network Engineer position with the salary range of$72,000-
$92,000. The Village's consultant will remain hired but the Village will scale back his duties.
The Village Manager would like to advertise for this position as soon as possible. Upon discussion
it was the consensus of the Board to approve.the Network Engineer position.
