Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 27, 2008, this Executive Session
was called to consider a Land Disposition matter.

LAND DISPOSITION
The Mayor advised the Village Board that the Park District may be interested-in the soon-to-be
vacated Fire Administration Building. The Mayor noted that if this is the case, the Village could
allow them to use, maintain, and update the building, but still have the Village own the property.
The Mayor also noted that he believes the Park District has a use for the property, but he was not
certain what the exact use would be.
A question was raised as to whether or not the NWMC has use for the building. It was noted that
they still have a lease for the next 10 years with Oakton.
A question was raised as to whether or not the property is an asset to the Village. The Mayor
stated that it was still an asset.
If the Village did not find anyone who had a use for the facility, the Mayor noted that it could be
kept in case anything happens with the Township.
The meeting adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
