II Routine Reports
A. Coordinator's Report
The flood at the Village Hall destroyed all equipment in the
Health Department. Most records were also destroyed, however,
some were on computer so the loss could have been worse. We
are currently housed in the. "old" Village Hall but will
probably be placed in trailers in the parking lot area.
Because of flooding at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, the
August 18, 1987, clinic was postponed to August 25, 1987.
Twenty-eight (28) children were given 47 shots. The next
clinic will be held on September 15, 1987.
The Senior Congregate Housing Ordinance was passed by the
Village Board in July. _
The Flu Clinic Schedule for this fall is attached.
No Housing/Health Inspector's report is attached because records
were lost in the flood.
B. Sanitarian's Report
Several new restaurants and day care centers have opened or
are in the process of opening.
Pizza Hut, Ascot Meats and LaPetite Academy opened in August.
Due for September openings are TCBY (Yogurt) , KinderCare and
Peppino's.
Water samples have been taken at the twelve (12) private wells
still being used in the Village. They were not scheduled for
for sampling, but due to the flooding, we felt they should be
taken.
