I Old Business
A. Low Cost Health Care Update
The grant proposal submitted to the Chicago Community Trust
was approved. An initial grant of $100,000 was approved for
planning. A staff person will be hired to prepare the plan.
Harper College will administer the funds for the first year.
The plan must be completed by September 7, 1987, so the Task
Force will request an implementation grant from Chicago
Community Trust. The concept is very exciting and should
fulfill a health need for the communities involved.
B. Congregate Senior Housing Update
JPZ has not discussed this issue in the last several months.
A memo will be sent to JPZ to ask when they will be looking
at their proposed ordinance.
