Sanitarian's Report Mike Cavallini gave a brief report on the Solid Waste Task Force, which he has been involved with for several months. The Task Force recommends that a landfill be placed on Forest Preserve Property in Hoffman Estates and a transfer station in West Glencoe. The landfill seems to be acceptable to Hoffman Estates and should have no impact on residential areas of that Village.. The transfer station is near residences in Northfield so that Village is objecting to its present, proposed placement.
