Carroll Square building owners have been warned about the litter and
improper storage of garbage in their parking area. They will be issued
citations if they do not clean the area. Hopefully this action will
encourage the owners to take better care of their property.
Several new food establishments will be opening in the next few months,
increasing the inspection load on the Sanitarian.
The Village Manager's office has warned the owners of the Elk Grove
Cinema of their non-compliance with Health and Fire Codes and has given
them a time limit to correct these violations. Upon inspection of the
theatre on September 20, 1978, it appears that they are making an effort
to comply. A final inspection will be made on September 25, 1978 and
if they comply, their license will be issued.
