MINUTES
BOARD OF HEALTH .
June 21 , 1972
:Members Present: Brother Ferdinand, Mrs. Farley, Mrs. Brock, Dr. Labinsky.
Others Present: Mrs. Watson, Sanitarian.
The Health Survey is now being typed. Brother Ferdinand thinks
it will be ready by Friday, after which he will mail out copies to
members.
The next regular meeting will be July 12, ; 1972. By that time
members will have had ' time to read the survey and think about the
recommendations in it. The Board of Health will invite Mr. Pahl (who
originally conceived the idea for the survey and its potential use in
future planning) and Dr. Hall (President of the Cook County Health
Department) .
Mr. Antonik ha's suggested an educational Health Fair be held
in the Village (blood, TB, Red Cross, etc.) ..
Mrs. Watson reported that Lyons Pool was closed by the Park District
late yesterday because of contamination from the flooding of Salt Creek.
Mrs. Watson further reported that the Carnival at Queen of The
Rosary dumped all their excess gas and oil into the creek before leaving.
. Their permit should be questioned next year..
