Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled
meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on September 23, 2008, this Executive
Session was called to consider a Liti ation matter.

Litigation
The Mayor requested the Board transfer$500,000 into the O'Hare Legal Defense Trust Fund. It
is anticipated that this would be the final transfer. The Mayor reiterated that the expansion has
had minimal impact on Elk Grove. In fact, the new runway impacts Arlington Heights and Park
Ridge more than Elk Grove. Additionally, the Village now has a working relationship with IDOT
and may finally get a multimillion-dollar highway interchange, which would help our industrial
park.
