A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO
EXECUTE A FIRST AMENDMENT TO AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF COOK ON BEHALF OF THE COOK COUNTY
SHERIFF AND THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to sign the attached documents
marked:
FIRST AMENDMENT TO INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF COOK
ON BEHALF OF THE COOK COUNTY SHERIFF
AND THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth and the Village
Clerk is authorized to attest said documents upon the signature of the Mayor.
Section 2: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.

FIRST AMENDMENT TO INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF COOK
ON BEHALF OF THE COOK COUNTY SHERIFF
AND
This First Amendment is made part of, and incorporated into, a certain intergovernmental Agreement
dated ("IGA"), by and between the County of Cook("County") on behalf of the Sheriff
of Cook County ("Sheriff') and ("Municipality") (collectively, the "Parties"),
pursuant to the authority granted by the Illinois Constitution of 1970, Article VII, Section 10 and
Intergovernmental Cooperation Act, 5 ILCS 21011 et seq.
THE IGA IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
1) In addition to the original language,the following is hereby added to Article III of the IGA:
TERM: The Parties agree to exercise the option to renew for the period of
to ("First Renewal Term").
2) Unless otherwise expressly modified by the terns of this Amendment,the terms of the IGA shall
remain in effect and unaltered.
COOK COUNTY EXECUTION: The undersigned, on behalf of the County of Cook, Illinois, a body politic and
corporate of the State of Illinois,hereby accept the foregoing Second Amendment to the IGA:
