Minutes for 2/21/2017—Minutes were approved.

Old Business
1. Approval of Schedule for Individual Oral Interviews—The commissioners agreed
to amend the schedule. Individual Oral Interviews will begin the 2nd week of
April, and conclude on the 3rd
2. Update on Backgrounds—The commissioners were briefed on the progress of
background checks. The commissioners have begun to review the
backgrounds for police candidates.
3. Signing of the Friedman Group Service Agreement—The Commission signed a 2-
year service agreement for Friedman and Associates Inc. to conduct
Psychological testing for Fire and Police Candidates. The Village will began
using Friedman and Associates immediately.
New Business
1. Presentation from Lory Newcomb of Stanard regarding the Fire Lieutenant
Promotional Process. —The commission agreed to have Stanard and Associates
mange the Fire Promotional Process for 2017. Stanard will create all
assessments and materials, administer all tests, and score each candidate.
Eligibility List
1. Firefighter—Eligibility list containing 109 names will expire on 09/14/2017.
2. Fire Lieutenant—Nine names appear on the eligibility list scheduled to expire on
11/09/2017.
3. Police Officer—Eligibility list Expires February 21st, 2019
4. Police Sergeant—Three names remain on the list scheduled to expire on 07/07/2018.
