AN ORDINANCE GRANTING AN ADMINISTRATIVE VARIATION OF SECTION
3-3:11-2 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW THIRTY(30) COIN-OPERATED
AMUSEMENT DEVICE LICENSES AT ELK GROVE BOWL, 53 S. ARLINGTON
HEIGHTS ROAD,ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, Section 3-3:13-2 of the Zoning Ordinance allows the Mayor and Board of
Trustees to grant an increase in the number of coin-operated amusement devices permitted as
accessory uses to certain permitted principal uses, including bowling alleys; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Board find and believe that Elk Grove Bowl meets the
conditions for such increase as set forth in Section 3-3:B-2 a-d, therefor permitting up to thirty
coin-operated amusement devices at its establishment.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted an Administrative Variation of Section 3-3-:13-2 of the
Zoning Ordinance, which section allows an increase up to ten(10) coin-operated amusement
devices, to permit thirty (30) coin-operated amusement devices at the Elk Grove Bowl, 53 S.
Arlington Heights Road, Elk Grove Village.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval according to law.
VOTE: AYES: 4 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 2
