OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
HELD ON JUNE 20TH, 2017
Approval of Minutes
Minutes for 05/16/2017 – Minutes were approved
Invoices for Approval
Invoice # 1862 from Advocate Occupational Health for 6 Medical Evaluations dated 6/2/2017
in the amount of $1865.
Invoice 1 from Friedman and Associates for 5 Psychological Evaluations dated 5/10/2017 for
the amount of $2,975.
Invoice 2 from Friedman and Associates for 1 Psychological Evaluation dated 5/24/2017 for
the amount of $595.
Invoice SA33878 from Stanard and Associates for the Lieutenant Promotional Process dated
3/31/2017 for the amount of $6,725.
All Invoices were approved.
Correspondence
Order of Suspension dated 5/22/2017from Chief Walsh for an officer violating Rules and
Regulations of the Elk Grove Police Department and Section 26.1.1A Failure to appear in
court when required or scheduled.
Old Business
1. Commissioners discussed the Fire Promotions Process
2. Commissioners discussed the Police Academy
3. Commissioners finalized plans for Fire Testing
New Business
1. Final Review for Fire Fighter was good. Fire Fighter’s probation was lifted.
2. Commissioners had positive reviews for 2 police officers. The officers will continue
through training.
Eligibility List
1. Firefighter – Eligibility expire on 09/14/2017.
2. Fire Lieutenant –list scheduled to expire on 11/09/2017.
3. Police Officer – Eligibility list Expires February 21st, 2019
4. Police Sergeant –Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 07/07/2018.
Adjournment
Chairman Ehrke moved that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by
secretary Kontek and the meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
