ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION
April 16, 1975
The Sam J . Horner public hearing was called to order at 7:50 P.M.
on Wednesday, April 16, 1975 in the Council Chamber of the Municipal
Building, 901 Wellington Avenue.
MEMBERS PRESENT: MEMBERS ABSENT:

The petitioner requested a special use permit for a temporary
utility for the dispensing of hot dogs and soft drinks . The petitioner
has been granted a special use permit every year for the last eight
years .
Chairman McGrenera stated that the Commission will consider
the petition for a special use permit.
The second public hearing for the evening, the special use
request by the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks , was called to
order at 7:53 P.M. The petitioner wants to conduct a lodge and recrea-
tional center on property located at 115 Gordon Street.
Chairman McGrenera stated that the Commission will consider
the petition for a special use permit .
At 8:00 P.M. the Plan Commission reconvened in the Staff
Conference Room.

Cummins moved to approve Unit 169. Krasnow seconded the
motion. All present voted 'AYE' .
SLAUF-NOVAK SUBDIVISION: Utility Easement
Cummins moved to approve easement for public utilities for
the Slauf-Novak Subdivision. Hamilton seconded the motion. All present
voted 'AYE' .
MOLLY-ANN SUBDIVISION: Utility Easement
Cummins moved to approve easements for public utilities for
Molly-Ann Subdivision. . Cummins seconded the motion. All present voted
'AYE' .

PAGNI 'S THIRD ADDITION
Wesley moved to approve Pagni 's Third Addition to Elk Grove
contingent upon the Engineer checking to see if this property is
affected by the new MSD requirements for storm detention (discloser
requirement for interest in adjoining land) and also that an additional
five foot easement be required in the northwest corner of subject
property. Krasnow seconded the motion. All present voted 'AYE' .
VALE TRACT
Tod Trayser was present to discuss zero lot line zoning
and the possibility of the inclusion of incentives in the Zoning
Ordinance which will allow a developer an increase in the allowable
density in exchange for superior and innovative design.
Chairman McGrenera suggested that when making a recommendation
to the Village Board on zero lot line zoning, the Commission should
also recommend the appointment of an appearance committee. Such a
committee would consider the landscaping, tree and shrub planting,
etc. , for a development.
The meeting adjourned at 10:40 P.M.
