Approval of Minutes
Minutes for 08-15-2017 – Minutes were approved.
Invoices for Approval
Invoice for the Illinois State Police for Background Checks dated 8/31/2017 in the amount of
$81.00
Invoice #667754 for Advocate Occupational Health for Medical Screenings dated 8/22 the in
the amount of $475
Invoice #99448 dated July 31, 2017 for Ottosen Britz Kelly Cooper Ltd dated 07/31/2017 in
the amount of $2,135
Invoice #5784 for Theodore Polygraph Services dated 8/10/2017 in the amount of $150
Invoice for the Illinois State Police for Background Checks dated 7/31/2017 in the amount of
$27
All invoices were approved.

Old Business
1. Final Authorization of the New Fire List – The Commissioners voted to approve
the New Fire Eligibility List. The New List took effect September 15, 2017.
2. Update on Dates for Lieutenant Testing – The commissioners agreed to the
schedule for Fire Promotions.
3. Fire Fighter Openings – The Fire Chief and commissioners discussed the hiring
process for the next open position.
4. PD Updates – The Police Chief updated the commissioners on the new recruits.
New Business
1. 1 Year Review for Police Officer. – The Commissioners approved and lifted the
probation of a police officer.
2. Training Opportunities – The commission discussed future training opportunities.
Eligibility List
1. Firefighter Eligibility List will expire on 09/15/2019.
2. Fire Lieutenant Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 11/09/2017.
3. Police Officer Eligibility list Expires 02/21/2019
4. Police Sergeant Eligibility list scheduled to expire on 07/07/2018.
Adjournment
Chairman Ehrke moved that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by
secretary Kontek and the meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
