ELK GROVE VILLAGE PLAN COMMISSION

The meeting was called to order by Secretary Cummins at 8:06 p.m.

Section 26 - 240 Units
(North of University Avenue)
Centex Homes presented information detailing the housing product to
be built in Section 26 within the A-3 Multi-Family/Recreational District
(i.e. , Golf Course area) .
A total of 17 buildings containing 240 dwelling units are planned.
At full development of the multi-family areas within the golf course project,
approximately 520 dwelling units will be built (713 are allowed by ordinance) .
The new housing project will be a two-story coach house condominium
arrangement. Units will contain 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms and range from 800 to
1,367 square feet in size. Detached garages will be offered.
Some preliminary questions were asked by the Plan Commission concerning
the new concept. All plans and plats will be submitted by Centex for review
by the Village.
Soil Erosion and Sedimentation
Control Ordinance
Ray Peterson distributed copies of a draft ordinance prepared by the
Village Attorney. Peterson indicated he would be comfortable administering
the ordinance as drafted.
Cummins stipulated that all existing developments should be brought
into conformance with the ordinance, if adopted.
Fulton's motion to recommend approval of the ordinance as drafted was
seconded by Geinosky. The motion was approved by a unanimous voice vote of
Plan Commission members present.
