HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 3540 - 1/9/2018 - 1551 Busse Road automotive ORDINANCE NO. 3540 AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1551 BUSSE ROAD FROM I-2 INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO B-3 BUSINESS DISTRICT (AUTOMOTIVE) WHEREAS,the Plan Commission, acting as a Zoning Commission, at a Public Hearing duly called and held according to law, considered the petition to rezone property located at 1551 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois from I-2 Industrial District to B-3 Business District (Automotive); and WHEREAS,the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation and finding of said Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in the best interest of the Village that said property be rezoned as requested. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois as follows: Section 1: That the property located at 1551 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, Illinois be and the same is hereby rezoned from 1-2 Industrial District to B-3 Business District (Automotive), which property is identified by property index number 08-35-104-061-0000 and legally described as follows: LOT 19 (EXCEPT THE EAST 553.10 FEET THEREOF) IN CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NUMBER 4, BEING A SUBDIVISION IN SECTION 35, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN (EXCEPTING THEREFROM THAT PART TAKEN FOR WIDENING OF GREENLEAF AVENUE), IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend the zoning map of the Village to reflect the rezoning as set forth herein. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval according to law. VOTE: AYES: 5 NAYS: 0 ABSENT: 1 PASSED this 91h day of January 2018.
