NORTHWEST POINT: Text Amendment to Office-Park District
Donna Pugh presented a revised request for a text amendment. The
request for a reduction in the width of some parking spaces from 9' to
8' 6" was eliminated. The other revisions were minor and based on
Staff recommendations.
Following discussion, George Mullen made a motion, seconded by Leah
Cummins, to recommend approval of the revised text amendment (Exhibit D
as corrected and Exhibit G, both attached) . The motion was passed
unanimously (Knudsen absent) .
SIXPENCE INN: Special Use Permit
(SW corner of Oakton Street and Busse Road)
Members considered a request by the Sixpence Inns of America Co.
to extend a Special Use Permit for a restaurant at the Southwest corner
or Oakton Street and Busse Road. The extension requested was two years.
Members considered the facts that one two year extension had
already been granted and that Sixpence Inns had indicated in writing
that a contract has been made with Denny's Restaurant. A motion was
made by George Mullen, seconded by Clark Fulton and passed unanimously
(Knudsen absent) to recommend approval of a one year extension to the
Sixpence Inn's Special Use Permit.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 P.M.
