PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 19, 1990

Chairman Glass called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m.
ZONING PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
Chairman Glass informed the Commission that the public hearings on
the Zoning Performance Standards have been postponed indefinitely at
the request of the petitioner.
REORGANIZATION OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
The Plan Commission reviewed minutes from 1982 regarding the
reorganization of the Zoning Ordinance as well as a memo authored by
the Administrative Assistant dated June 11, 1990.
After deliberating on the matter, Commissioner Henrici moved and
Commissioner Mullen seconded a motion to recommend to the JPZ Committee
that the advanced option for reorganizing the Zoning Ordinance, as
quoted by Sterling Codifiers, be performed. Upon voting, all AYES.
In addition, the Plan Commission recommended that a committee
comprised of Village Board members, Plan Commission members, Zoning
Board members and Village staff be established to address any
conflicts, ambiguities, or questions that may arise as a result of the
reorganization of the Zoning Ordinance.

REQUEST TO AMEND THE MINUTES
The Plan Commission examined a letter written by Walter Haas, a
resident of The Itasca Meadows subdivision, requesting that the August
15 Plan Commission minutes be amended. The consensus of the Plan
Commission was to not amend the minutes as requested by Hass.
ADJOURN
Commissioner Ayers moved and Commissioner Paliganoff seconded a
motion to adjourn. Upon voting, all AYES. The meeting adjourned at
9:00 P.M.
