Parker Staff Present Tom Rettenbacher, Building Commissioner Julie Strahl, Administrative Assistant Dawn Underhill, Administrative Intern Chairman Glass called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. Dave Paliganoff nominated Fred Geinosky to be Secretary of the Plan Commission. The .motion was seconded by Nancy Czarnik and passed unanimously. Chairman Glass stated to the Commission that the packet they received on parking standards would be one of the topics for discussion at the joint meeting with the JPZ on July 19. Julie Strahl explained that the copy of the Building and Development Compendium Report which each member received reveiwed the Building and Development for the past year. The report also contains comparisons with the past and development projections for the future. The forthcoming retirement of Tom Rettenbacher, and the consolidation, of the Engineering and Building Departments were discussed. GULLO TONNE/FARGO SCREENING PLAN Members noted that the revised plans provided adequate screening, and that the plans had received final staff approval. A motion was made by George Mullen to approve the Landscape and Screening Plan. The motion was seconded by Fred Geinosky. The motion was then amended to approve the Landscape and Screening Plan as revised on May 31, 1989. The motion and amendment passed unanimously. • • Plan Commission Minutes June 07, 1989 Page 2 Turner Avenue: Plat of Vacation Staff explained that the right-of-way is being vacated for the purpose of selling the property to the owners of the adjacent two lots. Members questioned who would pay for the public improvements. Staff explained that the purchaser would pay for the improvements. The net price of the purchase would be $57,000. Members questioned the need for easements with the adjacent shopping area. Julie Strahl indicated that an easement agreement has already been prepared for the Colonial Plaza driveway adjacent to the Turner Court property to be vacated. A motion was then made by John Meyers to approve the Plat of Vacation for Turner Avenue. The motion was seconded by George Mullen, and passed unanimously. A motion was made by George Mullen to adjourn. The motion was seconded by Dave Paliganoff, and passed. unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 8:38 p.m. Respectfully submitted, Daww"U'))?.
