Item 1: February 12,2018 Meeting Minutes
There was an error in the distribution of minutes, and this item was deferred to the next
scheduled meeting.
Item 2: Petition for Resubdivision of the property at 600 Landmeier from one (1) lot
into two (2) lots.
Chairman Glass asked the Village to explain their purpose before the Plan Commission
M. Jablonski explained that 600 Landmeier is the existing location of the Village's Public Works
Facility. The Village is building a new Public Works Facility on Devon Avenue, and is planning
to proceed with a land swap that would allow Elk Grove Township to take possession of the facility
on 600 Landmeier in exchange for the Village taking ownership of their property on Chelmsford.
M.Jablonski explained that there is an existing cell tower also on 600 Landmeier which the Village
owns and leases to telecommunications companies. The purpose of this resubdivision is to allow
the Village to retain ownership of the cell tower following the land swap with Elk Grove Township.
1. Commissioner Geinosky asked why there was no date on the Plat of Subdivision. R.
Raphael explained that the Plat is awaiting approval from Cook County before it is
finalized. He explained that the surveyor who completed the survey found that the right-
of-way for Landmeier Road was never dedicated to Cook County and the Village needs to
1
dedicate the road as part, of this resubdivision_ The Tillage is not expecting any changes
from Cook County, but does need to receive final approval.
J. Glass asked if the lack of dedication had to do with this being an older facility built before the
road would have been dedicated along that corridor. R. Raphael stated he was not sure when the
facility was originally built.
Commission Rettberg asked if the Township was planning to move. Commissioner Weiner stated
that they are selling their property on Arlington Heights Road and planning to consolidate into this
building.
Commissioner Morrill asked how much revenue the Village receives from this cell tower site. M.
Jablonski stated she did not know the exact number offhand, but that typically for each carrier the
Village would receive between$2,000 and$3,000 per month in revenue, and there are at least two
carriers on this tower.

at 600 Landmeier from one (1) existing lot into two (2) lots, subject to the condition that any
