See copy of the coordinator' s report of May, 1988 . In addition

presented. Hamilton Courts, a series of apartment buildings
just east of the intersection of Nerge and Rohlwing Roads ,
has announced that it is discontinuing its participation
in subsidized housing for 45 families presently enjoying
that option. Other individual families in this program
will also gradually need to be relocated. Community Service
is attempting to help these people.
A lengthy discussion followed about problems of housing
for the elderly and the poor. In an effort to have a better
understanding of the issues and their implications, Ms .
Eike was asked to communicate with the Housing Commission
and the Board of Health of Elk Grove Village to solicit
their assistance and to arrange a meeting of representatives
of all three groups to discuss the matter.
Ms . Eike' s report continued. A report of -the Elder Abuse
Task Force, which existed for two years and studied the
matter in nine townships near Elk Grove Village, was discussed;
interesting data was presented.
Ms . Eike met with representatives of the Red Cross so that
they could provide her with information about their services .
They presented her with a Statement of Understanding about

that the Village President sign the document so as to develop
