Ballard Steve Schwellenbach, Chairman Mr. Tvrdy moved for the acceptance of the plat of vacation of the public street as reflected in the final plat submitted for the Rogers Subdivision. The motion was seconded by Bill Shannon; vote was unanimous. Bill Shannon moved for the approval of the final plat of Rogers Subdivision Unit 2, subject to the proper naming of streets. It was seconded by Gayle Bantner; vote was unanimous. Mr. Tvrdy moved for the approval of the final plat of Delta Subdivision in Devon-O'Hare Industrial Park, Unit 1. It was seconded by Gayle Bantner; vote was unanimous. Steve Schwellenbach moved for the approval of the plat of dedication of public street for Howard Street in Higgins Industrial Park, Unit 4. It was seconded by Bill Shannon. After extensive discussion, a roll call indicated Chairman Schwellenbach voting in favor of the motion and all other members voting in opposition. It was felt by the majority of the Commission that the proposed street was not in the best interest of the village, was not necessary, and definitely violated previous understandings and agreements between the village, Plan Commission, and developer of the 100-acre tract. In previous hearings, it was stated and determined that there would be no east-west streets running through the western boundary of the property in question. W. R. Ballard moved for the approval of the preliminary and final plats of Higgins Industrial Park, Unit 8. It was seconded by Bill Shannon; vote was unanimous. The preliminary plats for the Busse farm subdivision to be used in multi- housing were discussed by the Plan Commission. The Chairman is to indicate to the village that the Plan Commission is opposed to the plat due to the high density and poor street layout. The egress from the subject property to Landmeier Road is totally inadequate. With respect to the town house section of the planned unitdevelopment, it was the Plan Commission's recommendation that the moving of the six units from one area to another be approved. Gayle Bantner made the motion, and it was seconded by Gerald Tvrdy. It was felt this was a minor change and would not require a public hearing. Since a letter was given to the village by the developer, it was felt adequate protection had been received to guarantee the compliance in reduction when the future acreage was developed. Respectfully s/ ub '7 ted, W. R. Ballard, Secretary
