HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLAN COMMISSION - 07/22/1968 - COLEBROOK PLAN COMMISSION MEETING July 22, 1968 Members present were: Steve Schwellenbach, Chairman W. R. Ballard Tom Hamilton Gayle Bantner Frank Dillon An extensive discussion was held concerning drainage with Mr. Arbenson on Colebrook Unit #1 final plat. The Commission postponed any decision until later in the meeting. On the preliminary and final plat of dedication for Randall St. , W. R. Ballard moved for the approval subject to Centex's satisfying the full parking requirements of the ordinance. This is in respect to the destruction of a portion of the existing parking lot for the center located at the inter- section of Arlington Heights and Higgins. It was seconded by Gayle Bantner; vote was unanimous. W. R. Ballard moved for the approval of the preliminary and final of the Higgins Road Commercial Unit #42. It was seconded by Frank Dillon; vote was unanimous. Gayle Bantner moved for the approval of the preliminary and final plats of Higgins Road Commercial Unit #43. It was seconded by Frank Dillon; vote was unanimous. W. R. Ballard moved for the approval of the preliminary and final Centex Industrial Park Unit #88. It was seconded by Frank Dillon; vote was unanimous. Gayle Bantner moved for the approval of the preliminary and final plats of Centex Industrial Park Unit #89. It was seconded by Frank Dillon; vote was unanimous. Tom Hamilton moved for the approval of the final plat of Troch-Mc Niel sub- division in the Devon-O'Hare Industrial Park Unit #2. It was seconded by Frank Dillon; vote was unanimous. On the preliminary and final plats of Brickvale Subdivision in Devon-O'Hare Industrial Park, the Commission refers them to the village engineer due to the open drainage running through the property. The Commission then returned to the discussion on Colebrook Unit #1. Tom Hamilton moved for the approval of the final plat subject to the approval by the village engineer after thorough_- review of the final plan including topographical map for this and adjoining properties showing that the property in question will properly drain, causing no additional flooding or drainage PLAN COMMISSION MEETING p. 2 July 22, 1968 problem for other properties, and further showing that the property in question will experience no flooding including basement flooding, and that water table after completion of improvements will be lower than all basements in the subdivision.
