HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLAN COMMISSION - 06/13/1968 - CENTEX INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT 109 PLAN COMMISSION MEETING June 13, 1968 Members present: Steve Schwellenbach, Chairman W. R. Ballard Tom Hamilton Gayle Bantner Jack Denny W. R. Ballard moved for the approval of the preliminary and final plats of Centex Industrial Park, Unit 109. It was seconded by Gayle Bantner; vote was unanimous. The Commission decided to refer the plat of dedication for Brickvale Drive in Devon-O'Hare Industrial Park to the Village Manager for staff comments. There was concern expressed for a cul-de-sac being placed in the industrial park. Jack Denny moved for the approval of the preliminary and final on Centex Industrial Park Unit #85; W. R. B. seconded; vote was unanimous. W. R. Ballard moved for the acceptance of the plat of dedication of Seegers Street and the plat of grant for the Seeger Street portion owned by Commonwealth-Edison. It was seconded by Gayle Bantner; vote was unanimous. On the plat of dedication for Crossen Avenue, the Commission withheld approval until such time as a plat of grant should be submitted for the portion of Crossen owned by Commonwealth-Edison. On the plat of dedication for Lively, the Commission withheld approval until such time as a plat of grant should be submitted for the portion of Lively owned by Commonwealth-Edison. A discussion was then held by the Commission on the Tonne Road site plan for Cardinal Court. The architect was present and discussed the various pros and cons of the previous informal submission and the present informal submission. The Plan Commission indicated they thought they could give approval to the pre- liminary and final plats when submitted provided that the center north-south street running through the development could be terminated at approximately the mid point, thus allowing additional open space, but still fulfilling the ordinance requirements as to parking.
