PLAN COMMISSION MEETING April 18, 1968
Members present were:
Steve Schwellenbach, Chairman
W. R. Ballard
Gayle Bantner
Frank Dillon
Tom Hamilton
Leah Cummins
W. R. Ballard moved for the approval of the preliminary and final on
Higgins Road Commercial Unit #38. It was seconded by Frank Dillon;
vote was unanimous.
Frank Dillon moved for the approval of the preliminary and final on
Centex Industrial Park, Unit #81; vote was unanimous.
Gayle Bantner moved for the approval of the preliminary and final
on Centex Industrial, Unit #82; vote was unanimous.
The Chairman reminded the Commission of the Public Hearing to be held
May 2.
Frank Dillon moved for the approval of the R-4 Planned Unit Development
subject to the following conditions :
1. The approval of the village engineers in con-
currence with the Soil Conservation Dept.
2. A well site be made part of the development
in order to allow the village to enforce the
covenants.
3. That easements be provided on private streets
for access of fire and police equipment.
4. Removal of sufficient building lots in order to
meet the open space requirements as stated in the
ordinance. (The Plan Commission would prefer that
the building lots north of the school site and
adjoining thereto be considered) .
5. The Village Board grant a variance for the cul-de-
sac if necessary.
6. That the Village not be a party to any water covenants.
Tom Hamilton seconded the motion, and due discussion followed. The Chair-
man then called for the vote. All members voted in favor except W. R. Ballard
who abstained.
The comprehensive plan will be discussed at the next meeting.
