Ballard Frank Dillon Gayle Bantner Tom Hamilton gave the Plan Commission a report prepared by the Soil Conservation Department on the Salt Creek Water Shed Project. It will be reviewed by various members for their information. Frank Dillon moved for the approval of the preliminary and final of Centex Industrial Park Unit #7 North. Gayle Bantner seconded; vote was unanimous. W. R. Ballard moved for the approval of the preliminary and final of Centex Industrial Park Unit #80. Frank Dillon seconded it; vote was unanimous. Frank Dillon moved for the approval of the plat of dedication for public street on Estes commencing 320 feet west of Lively Boulevard and extend- ing to Touhy and then for Touhy extending west to Tonne Road. It was seconded by Tom Hamilton; vote was unanimous. On the plat of dedication of public street for Walter Street between Bennett and Higgins Road, the Plan Commission has referred it to Attorney Hoffert since the proposed road runs through the parking area previously used in computation for the required parking spaces at the shopping center located at the intersections of Arlington Heights and Higgins Road. With respect to the letter from the Village Manager concerning the pre-annexation hearing in Itasca on April 9 dealing with a parcel of land being brought into the Itasca Industrial Park, the Plan Commission believes objections should be raised since the proposed comprehensive plan indicates property in this area should remain residential. The Plan Commission further recommends the Village Trustees consider going south of Devon as far as Thorndale in annexing additional property into the village. The proposed East-West highway which would be located approximately at Thorndale changes the picture as to the southern boundaries of the Village. With respect to the R-4, the Plan Commission was informed the Village Engineer and Soil Conservation Department were getting together to discuss the possibility of an additional spillway being required. The Plan Commission will hold up any further discussion of the R-4 until their report has been received. Respectfu u , W. R. Ballard, Secretary
