MEMBERS PRESENT: Bob Snell and Jack Pahl AGENDA: Devon-O'Hare Industrial Park Subdivision It was the sense of the Plan Commission that we were in sub- stantial agreement with the proposed Annexation Agreement, the draft date of 6/5/64 and further that we were in essential agree- ment with;the drawings of the Master Plan as submitted. Before any conclusion can be reached, we feel that we need add- itional information in the following areas. 1. lie would like to know and we will so solicit the Village Board and Village President to advise us as to their current understanding and agreements with Centex relative to open ditches in the Industrial Park and in the residen- tial areas. We also feel that there has been some discuss- ion and rumor relative to the fact that our Subdivision . Control Ordinance presently prevents open ditches at no place in the Subdivision Control Ordinance can we find any such provision. 8.005 Required Improvement Storm Drains has the follow- ing sentence which reads as follows: "Open ditches shall be avoided." 2. It is the feeling of the Plan Commission that the same paragraph 8.005 Sanitary Sewers to be revised to include a sewage treatment plant. The present Subdivision Control Ordinance relates to a private system comprising of septic tanks and tile seepage fields. It is the sense of the Plan CoIInnission that this is wholly unsatisfactory. 3. The Plan Commission is desireous of knowing if the water main capacity will be sufficient to accomodate future development to the south and to the west of the proposed subdivision. If it is the desire of the Village to extend our southern boundary to Thorndale they probably should give much consideration to water capacity future requirements. The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 P.M. • Jack Pahl
