Members Present: Les Knudson, Jack Pahl and George Majoros. Approval was given to final Plat Unit #23 of the Centex Industrial Park and signed by the Chairman and the acting Secretary of the Plan Commission. The members of the Plan Commission then went out and physically examined the land of Cook County Zoning Dockets #783, #803 and #804. In the case of Docket #783 and #803 it was decided that no objections would be submitted to the Village Board. The thinking on Docket #783 that apartments would be a good thought for between Lake Briarwood property and the manufacturing properties immediately to the east of the subject property. On Docket #803, the area generally on the north side of Algonquin Road, east of Elmhurst is now apartment and B-2 Restricted Service Area. In regard to Docket #804, it was decided to advise the Village Board that Elk Grove Village should submit a protest because of the strict zoning involved and the proposed use, namely a restaurant, cocktail lounge and office building, and number two because of the liquor involved in the cocktail lounge being so close to Dempster Jr. High School. It was also decided to point out to the Village Board that because of the mile and one-half planning area factor, we should probably not be too concerned about these areas. Meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.M. These minutes were dictated by Jack Pahl. Minutes of the previous meetings were approved. •
